Casa Dea Estates planted its vineyards in 2001 and we are currently the largest planting of Vinifera grapes in the County with 65 acres under vine. Along with the winery we also have a restaurant, banquet hall and Bocce Courts. We are using Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gamay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc to craft our wines. Along with regular wines we are also producing a couple of different Sparkling wines and an Appassimento wine (think Amarone).

Frank van Sertima is the Winemaker at Casa Dea and works hard to craft and produce terroir specific wines. Frank believes that wines are expressions of the places they come from and people who work with them. He worked for many years in the Niagara wine industry following his education at Niagara College in the Winemaking and Viticulture program.
